BLOGMAS: POST 18- THE CHRISTMAS SONG BOOK TAG

For this post, yes another tag challenge but was a bit lazy and sometimes it’s easy to not be sure what to do for the next post. Only 6 posts or so till Blogmas wraps up for this Year. I’ve enjoyed doing it but if I do it again next year maybe just aim for 12 posts as it can be a little tiring trying to make sure you’re keeping up with each day/post. Anyway this tag challenge is a mixture of Christmas Songs and Books so it should be a fun one to do, so here we go

1: “YOU’RE A MEAN ONE, MR GRINCH” – NAME A VILLAINOUS CHARECTER YOU COULDNT HELP BUT LOVE

Lord Voldemort, he is such a menacing pure evil charecter but I always love a good Villain. He dominates the story in what ever Chapter/Scene he is in, in either the Films or Books. Pure Evil Villains are the best as they act without mercy or care.

2: “ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU” – WHICH BOOK DO YOU HOPE TO SEE UNDER YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE

Not sure exactly but “And Then There Were None” by Agatha Christie has been relased with a class new cover so there is one to put on the list

3: “RUDOLPH, THE RED NOSED REINDEER” – NAME A CHARECTER THAT OVERCOMES MAJOR OBSTACLES AND LEARNS TO BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES

Without doubt it has to be Harry Potter or Frodo Baggins. They both major challenges on thier journeys to defeating the villains in thier stories. They lose poeple close to them and suffer physically and emotionally but both keep going strong to win the day.

4: “SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN” – A) WHICH CHARECTER DO YOU THINK WOULD BE ON THE TOP OF THE NAUGHTY LIST? B) WHICH CHARECTER DO YOU THINK WOULD BE AT THE TOP OF THE NICE LIST?

For (A) it would have to be Dudley Dursley as he is such a repugnant little bully who is spoiled his even more odious parents, Hagrid should have completely turned him into a Pig as it would have served him right for being so awful to Harry

For (B) which is quite a tricky choice I would have to nominate Jane Eyre as she is such a virtuous strong charecter who speaks and thinks for herself within Victorian Society. She certainly put’s Rochester in his place after discovering his secret wife and will not be cowed by his pleading. Luckily however love wins the day and they get back together.

5: “FROSTY THE SNOWMAN” – WHICH BOOK JUST MELTS YOUR HEART

There are a few choices for this but I would have to say some of these mentions would be most of Roald Dahl’s Books, Harry Potter and various others.

6: “FELIZ NAVIDAD” CHOOSE A BOOK THAT TAKES PLACE IN A COUNTRY OTHER THAN YOUR OWN

“Death on the Nile” by Agatha Christie is set on the Nile in Egypt where a heavily diskliked Beautiful Young Heiress is shot in the head in her sleep. Agatha Christie was a renowned traveller all over the world and her rich descriptions of the pyramids are amazing.

7: “IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR” – WHICH HOLIDAY THEMED BOOK DO YOU USE TO SPREAD THE CHRISTMAS JOY

“A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. It has now become a tradition of mine to read it every Christmas. Dicken’s lavish, enticing descriptions of a Victorian Christmas are highly enticing and beautiful.

8: “SLEIGH RIDE” – WHICH FICTIONAL CHARECTER WOULD YOU CHOOSE TO SPEND THE HOLIDAYS WITH (DOESENT HAVE TO BE A LOVE INTEREST)

If I was to chose someone it would have to Professor Dumbledore, he is such a quirky, eccentric wise charecter who does have his own demons but a completely loveable charecter all the same.

9: “BABY IT’S COLD OUTSIDE” – WHICH BOOK THAT YOU DIDNT LIKE WOULD YOU SACRAFICE TO A FIRE TO WARM YOURSELF UP IN THE COLD.

Game of Thrones!!!!!!! I hate that RUBBISH SO MUCH

10: “DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR” – WHICH BOOK DO YOU THINK EVERYONE SHOULD READ

I’m gonna go with not Book but several so pretty much of all the books written by Agatha Christie, JK Rowing/Robert Galbraith, Charles Dickens, Roald Dahl.
